I learned one big lesson–Use Secure Passwords. Don’t use a password you can find in the dictionary. I learned of this problem reading “The Cookoo’s Egg,” the story of how they caught the first known Russian hacker spy in1986. Even then, someone had digitized the alphabet through an encryption software so hackers can bypass your password and read the encryption word. There’s a reason your IT guru concocts those unrememorable strings of letters & numbers & punctuation.
You can save them to an email draft like Gen. Petreaus did his love letters.
